I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming B&B tucked away in the countryside. The warm welcome from the hosts immediately made me feel at home. The room was immaculate, with luxurious furnishings and thoughtful touches like complimentary slippers and a well-stocked hospitality tray. The breakfast was a delicious feast, with a variety of options to choose from. Located just a short walk from a historic hall and within easy reach of popular tourist attractions, the location couldn't have been more convenient.

The check-out time of 10am was a bit early, especially for those who enjoy a leisurely lie-in.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, even allowing us to check in early for a wedding. And let's not forget about the delicious breakfast! During our Christmas stay, we were impressed by two things in particular: the breakfast and the personalized touches. The breakfast selection was wide-ranging and included delicious freshly made croissants with tea and coffee right in the room. we appreciated the effort that had gone into personalizing the experience for guests, with homemade biscuits and fudge in each room. The courtyard parking was also a plus, and the location was conveniently close to many local attractions.

One downside to our stay was the disturbance caused by a generator or similar piece of machinery on the other side of the bathroom wall. The noise started up again at about 3 am, which made it challenging for us to get back to sleep.

Clean rooms with comfortable bed, nice shower, and aircon. Good breakfast selection, friendly owners, and convenient parking. Pub nearby. a delightful B&B with excellent amenities and welcoming hosts.

The location was perfect for exploring York and the Peak District, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

The only improvement I would suggest for breakfast is to serve it in a staggered manner, ensuring that each dish is served hot and fresh.
