had an amazing stay in durham, and 52 old elvet surpassed our expectations. the well-equipped kitchen and spacious rooms were a delight, and the location was exceptional. we loved exploring the town and trying out the fantastic restaurants and cafes nearby. the assistance from andy turns was outstanding and made our transition stress-free.

The location was excellent, with shops, bars, and restaurants just a short walk away. The apartment was modern yet had a traditional setting. All catering conveniences were provided, including milk and orange juice in the fridge. The toilet and shower room were modern and clean, with a great rainfall shower. The entrance way and staircase were grand and beautiful. The host was accommodating, allowing us to keep our luggage in the apartment until our train departure.

Despite a water damage issue in the original apartment, Dan arranged for us to stay in another equally lovely apartment. the private car park was a great convenience, and we appreciated Andy's offer to let us leave our car for as long as we wanted. the location was excellent, just a short walk to shops, bars, and restaurants. the Kirkham apartment itself was modern yet in a traditional setting, and we enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen and modern shower. the overall building was restored beautifully with quality fittings and work. We were grateful for Andy's flexibility in allowing us to keep our luggage in the apartment until it was time for our train. the owners were super helpful and quick to respond, making the check-in process easy with door codes.
