Absolutely loved the 17th-century charm and the delicious food and drinks at this family-run pub. The nearby airport was super convenient. And playing darts was a blast!

I recently stayed at the Bay Horse in York for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The location was surprisingly convenient, with a short walk or a quick bus ride into the city center. The staff were friendly and the breakfasts were amazing, offering a satisfying full English breakfast. The evening meal options were also impressive, with affordable steak deals that were delicious. The hotel room was comfortable and I had a peaceful night's sleep. Additionally, the large car park provided ample space for parking.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel was clean and had good facilities. It had a nice and clean pub downstairs with good quality food. The location was not far from the city centre, just down an enclosed alley way, and transportation was easily accessible.

What impressed me the most was the outstanding value for money and the friendly atmosphere of the pub. It was also a bonus to meet Arthur, the pub's adorable dog.

The water pressure in the shower was quite weak.

The value for money was great, with a comfortable and clean room. The location was excellent, on a bus route, and the staff treated me with friendliness and helpfulness.
