It was the perfect spot for a tranquil getaway. The room itself was comfortable and spotlessly clean. I will definitely be returning in the future. There was a strange smell in the room, which seemed like someone had smoked in there and it was being covered up with air freshener. The bed was made while we were having breakfast, even though we were checking out an hour later.

Had a fantastic New Year's stay in Cumbria. The breakfast was absolutely huge, with lots of delicious, locally sourced items. We were so full afterwards that we didn't need to eat again until the evening. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond for us. The highlight was definitely the amazing pub restaurant food - it was simply outstanding. The best part of our stay was the breathtaking panoramic views of Morecambe Bay, which changed with the tides and offered a stunning backdrop. It was mesmerizing to watch the wildlife on the estuary.

There were a few minor issues during our stay. The Wifi was a bit temperamental, but honestly, we didn't come here to be on our phones all the time.
