Our stay at The Bay Horse was fantastic! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were cosy and well-equipped. The food served in the pub was delicious with plenty of choice, and the customer service was exceptional from check-in to check-out. The room was clean and comfortable, with the heating already on for our arrival. The staff even went above and beyond to accommodate our request to have our rooms together. We really appreciated the thoughtful communication and great service throughout our stay.

I recently had a delightful stay at a charming inn in a quiet village close to York. The hotel was not only reasonably priced, but also conveniently located near the train station and a park and ride service to York, making it easy to explore the city without the hassle of parking. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, and the rooms were well appointed with comfortable beds and great showers. The highlight of my stay was the delicious breakfast, featuring locally sourced sausages. All in all, this hotel offered great value for money and was the perfect base for exploring the area.

The location of the hotel was perfect, allowing for easy access to York by train or the nearby park and ride. It was a relief to avoid the hassle and expense of staying in the city itself. Secondly, the service provided by the staff was fantastic. They were friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The basic amenities in the room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Lastly, the homemade curries served at the restaurant were absolutely superb, and the range of options converted me to a curry lover!

The rooms, although cozy, were clean and equipped with a bath and separate shower. The breakfast served was superb, with a variety of gluten-free options. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. There was even a fun quiz night with free food provided by the friendly landlord.

The heater in the bedroom didn't work properly, but the staff did their best to provide an alternative solution.
