The room was lovely and spacious, with comfortable furnishings. The guesthouse had a friendly and cosy atmosphere. The breakfasts were great and the staff were friendly, helpful, and provided information about local places to eat. The location was excellent for both walking into town and driving out to explore the local hills.

The hotel is conveniently located very close to the town center, making it easy to explore the area on foot. The breakfast offered a fantastic range of food options, including breads, fruits, cereal, yoghurts, and a delicious 'full English'. The staff were extremely welcoming and provided helpful information about the local area. Additionally, the hotel had plenty of available parking in its own private car park, which was a great convenience.

I stayed for one night as a solo traveler using it as an overnight base for walking. The owners were extremely welcoming. The room was a good size and the double bed comfortable. No noise from traffic or late night revellers. The ensuite shower was adequate. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of breads, fruits, cereal, yoghurts and 'full english'. Convenient location with large parking at the rear.

We had a fantastic stay at Beacons Guest House in Builth Wells. The owners were extremely friendly and responsive, allowing us to check in early and providing clear instructions on accessing the property. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, offering stunning views of the Beacons. The highlight was the exceptional breakfast, with a wide variety of delicious options, freshly cooked and served with a smile. The location was great, with a large private car park and close proximity to the city center. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at the Beacons Guest House. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. The overall ambiance of the guesthouse was friendly and cosy. The breakfasts were delicious, offering a great variety of options, including a full English breakfast, toast. The staff, including the owner, were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We were even accommodated with a late check-in and an early breakfast. We look forward to returning in the future.

I stayed at this hotel recently and was pleasantly surprised. The location was better than I thought - just a short walk to the centre of town, which was perfect for exploring. The staff were excellent, always willing to help and make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were lovely and clean, with all the basic amenities we required. And the breakfast was first class, with a wide selection of cereals and options to cater to everyone's preferences.

That our room was on the second floor with no lift, but the friendly staff made up for it with their assistance and service.

We stayed at a guest house during the new year break and had a great time. The towels provided were large and soft, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We really appreciated the ample parking available to us. The guest house is located just a short walk away from the town centre, which made it easy to explore the area. the breakfast was delicious and had a good choice of cereals.

We did feel that the bathroom could have been better. The shower over the bath was functional but the bathroom units had an old fashioned and rather tired feel to them.

This hotel is a great base for exploring the beautiful Beacons. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the shopping and dining areas. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are nice and warm. The breakfast is delicious, with a good selection of cereals, yogurt, and fruit juices, as well as a great British fry-up cooked to order. The value for money is fantastic, and I'm looking forward to my next visit.
