For the price we paid, we definitely got our money's worth. The room was incredibly comfortable, with the exception of the stuffy heat due to the windows not being able to open. The location was perfect, with parking close by, even though it was quite busy. The staff at Bear & Swan were excellent, providing pleasant service throughout our stay.

Breakfast delights aside, the only thing that could've made it better would be if there was a wider variety of cooked options available.

The parking situation was inconvenient as the car park was shared and often crowded. the food was subpar, with one dish being completely different from what was advertised.

What a gem of a find! We stayed at a charming pub in a beautiful village near Bath and Bristol. The rooms were luxurious, with comfortable beds and everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and served by a friendly staff member. We even had an open fire at breakfast, which added to the cozy atmosphere. The village itself was a delight to explore, and we loved being away from the hustle and bustle. we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this place.

We had a fantastic short break at a charming hotel in a picturesque village. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area and enjoying Mendip walks. Despite a few minor inconveniences, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it as a base for exploring. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable getaway.

Stayed two nights for a wedding in the family suite. Spacious room with modern amenities like Tassimo machine, hair dryer, iron, and a freeview TV. Bathroom had a double rainfall shower and a bath. Amazing staff, Josh and his team were welcoming and friendly. Beautiful views of Chew and surrounding areas. Delicious a la carte breakfast with high-quality ingredients. Away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
