had an amazing honeymoon stay in Hungerford, Greene King Inns exceeded our expectations. Modern and spacious annex, pleasant surroundings with a garden and stream. Friendly staff, tasty pub grub, and clean room decor. Highly recommended.

My recent stay at this hotel was fantastic! the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed and well taken care of. the location was also perfect, with pubs and shops just a short walk away. the highlight of my stay was the delicious cooked breakfast each morning. the service was prompt and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed. It was a great start to my day. Plus, the hotel was clean and warm, providing a comfortable and cozy atmosphere.

Although my stay was wonderful overall, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. in the evening and morning, the number of milk sachets provided in the room was not sufficient for two people, which was a bit disappointing.

Comfortable, albeit small room with beautiful gardens, a stream, and a friendly swan. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was top-notch. The bed was cozy and the view from the room was lovely. The food, especially the lamb shoulder, was amazing. Staff were excellent and attentive.

We had an amazing stay at The Bear Hotel! The value for money was incredible, with comfortable beds, a clean room, and loads of in-room extras. The location was perfect, situated on a long country road that added to the adventure. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help.

The only small downside was that some breakfast items could be improved, such as the quality of the bacon and sausages. But overall, it didn't greatly affect our enjoyable stay at The Bear Hotel.

It was great to have plenty of storage space for our clothes and enough electrical sockets to charge our devices. the hotel's location was very convenient, just a short walk away from the town center and the canal.

There were a few aspects of our stay that we didn't enjoy. the room was not well soundproofed, and we could hear traffic noise from the adjacent road.

The location of the hotel in a beautiful area beside a lovely little stream and on the canal made it even more special. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The Bear Hotel By Greene King Inns was worth every penny. The room was beautiful with a great balcony overlooking 'bear island'. The location was convenient for the antique stores and the best fish and chip store in town. The staff, especially the woman at reception, were exceptional and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The only thing that could have made breakfast better was having glasses for juice readily available.

During my recent stay at The Bear Hotel, my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service we received. When we checked in, the staff upgraded us to the Bridal Suite, making our stay even more special. The room was spacious, clean, and had a luxurious bathtub and rain shower. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the pillows provided great support without causing any discomfort. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast with plenty of options to choose from, including vegetarian dishes. The hotel's central location allowed us to easily explore Hungerford on foot. I highly recommend The Bear Hotel for its fantastic rooms, friendly staff, and delightful dining experience.

our second stay in hungerford was even better than the first. greene king inns really impressed us with their delightful courtyard and garden by the stream. the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. we will definitely be returning.

Disappointing cooked breakfast.

The Bear Hotel By Greene King Inns in Hungerford exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the location of the hotel is fantastic, right in the center of town. I loved being able to walk to all the nearby shops and attractions. Secondly, the hotel itself is in beautiful grounds on the canal, with a lovely little stream running alongside it. It's such a peaceful and scenic setting. The attention to detail in the rooms was also impressive. The super king bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was absolutely lovely. Lastly, the breakfast was a real highlight, with a wide variety of options to choose from and a friendly and helpful waitress. The Bear Hotel By Greene King Inns is truly a gem.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was superb and I couldn't fault a thing!
