The Pig Wig cottage was charming, rustic, and roomy with large beds. It had all the self-catering facilities we needed. Breakfast in the main farmhouse was freshly cooked, with good produce and generous portions. Our welcoming host Nigel served us with a smile. The presence of animals like dogs, cats, ponies, and hens made us feel like part of one big happy family.

The personal touches were lovely, like having a torch for the dark evenings and a sewing kit just in case. the beds were incredibly comfortable and the bedding was soft and cozy. We also appreciated the printed maps of the local hospitals, very handy! the location was perfect, just a short drive to Longleat and the picturesque town of Bradford, on, Avon. And the alternative breakfast of cereal, fruit, juices, croissants, and pastries delivered to our room was delicious.

There were a few minor things that could be improved. the hot water in the shower didn't last very long, leaving us with cold water to finish washing our hair.

The breakfast in the main farmhouse conservatory offers plenty of choice and is cooked using local ingredients. The games room/library is a great addition, providing entertainment for families and ensuring rainy nights are not a bore.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. Despite being in the main house, my room felt very private and had lovely views. It was equipped with everything I needed, including a fridge, kettle, microwave, and cutlery. The farm atmosphere was delightful, with two happy dogs, ponies, and chickens. Within a short walk, I was able to enjoy the open fields and go for a relaxing stroll. it was a wonderful and relaxing stay.

I had a wonderful stay at the cottage at Beeches Farmhouse Country Cottages & Rooms. The converted barn was lovely and had everything I needed for my vacation. The views of the beautiful countryside were breathtaking. I especially enjoyed the extra touches like fresh milk and delicious biscuits upon arrival. The games room was a hit with my kids, who loved playing pool, table tennis, and board games. They also adored the chickens and ponies on the property. Nigel, the owner, was friendly and helpful, showing us around the cottage. The accommodation was excellent, and I will definitely be returning to Beeches Farmhouse Country Cottages & Rooms in the future.
