I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The attention to detail was evident throughout my stay. The room was beautifully decorated with some lovely touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the location, opposite the beautiful old church, added to the overall charm of the hotel. The staff were attentive and provided excellent service. this hotel offers good value for money and I would highly recommend it.

There was a party on the night of our stay and our room was directly above it, resulting in excessive noise. When we requested to move rooms, we were told there would be an additional charge.

Despite the lovely atmosphere, noise from the bar and garden below can be heard in some rooms.

I had one of the best stays ever - the room was huge with a smart TV and a lovely bathroom with a bath and shower. The bed was huge and very comfortable, and there was even a mini fridge and a fan in the room. The hotel had a lot of personality and the staff were very attentive. The location was ideal, right opposite a beautiful old church, and it was a short drive to Beth Chatto's garden. The food was also amazing, and I can't find fault with anything about this place.

The shower room is excellent and the food in the restaurant is absolutely amazing. The menu offers a great variety of options. The rooms are quiet and offer a lovely view of the church gardens. The staff members are extremely friendly and hospitable, always ready to assist in any way they can. Even when we had car issues and missed dinner, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, reopening the kitchen just for us. The attention to detail in the room and bathroom is impeccable. The Bell Inn is a place where you can unwind, enjoy good food and drinks, and make lifelong friends.

The hotel itself had a quirky and charming atmosphere, with original features shining through the modern decor. The breakfast was excellent - freshly made and delicious. The bathroom was immaculate and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The location was perfect, with Beth Chatto's garden only 20 to 30 minutes away and a lovely view of the old church. The inn provided a delicious breakfast with fresh, artisan bread and cooked-to-order meals. it was a great value for money.

The noise from the restaurant and bar area was quite intrusive until closing time.
