We had a fantastic stay here. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk to the seafront and many delightful restaurants. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the facilities provided were excellent. We especially appreciated the free parking, making it convenient for us to explore the city. The breakfast served at this hotel was delicious, with a great variety to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

The room was tiny and the bathroom minute. It was past its best and although it was spotlessly clean, it felt dingy. the staff were really friendly and accommodating. They allowed me to check in early and the bar had a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices.

It felt cramped and outdated. the hotel overall seemed old and in need of renovation.

I adored the cozy atmosphere of the hotel, with its lovely decorations and comfortable seating areas perfect for us seniors to relax.

We had an amazing stay at Belmont. the rooms were spotless and the beds were incredibly comfy. We loved the little touches like the assortment of tea, coffee, and biscuits that were replenished every day. the friendly owners made us feel right at home, and the bar was a cozy spot to relax in the evenings. It was so convenient being able to walk into town and enjoy a drink or meal. And let's not forget the stunning beach! the ample parking and easy access to explore the whole island were also major pluses. We highly recommend Belmont - it truly is a charming and welcoming place to stay.

Loved sitting on the veranda, feeling like a posh Victorian lady. The Tennyson Trail gave me a chance to strut my stuff in the beautiful West Wight landscape. The shop had shiny crystal jewelry that apparently heals the soul. The buffet had enough cereal options to feed a small army.

The pub that claims to be one of the oldest on the island since 1621 is probably not as ancient as they think.

Had a great Xmas break here. the room was cozy and comfortable with a lovely bed and nice bathroom. the breakfast was delicious and the hosts were pleasant and helpful. the location was perfect, close to the beach and shops, and in a quiet area. the hotel had character and the owners made us feel welcome.

It would have been nice to have been informed about it in advance, as it caused some inconvenience.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Clean rooms, comfy beds, and tasty breakfast. Close to the beach, restaurants, and pubs. Easy access to transportation. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and at home. Plenty of parking space and hotel facilities were great.

The bar was well-stocked and reasonably priced, and the breakfast spread was excellent with plenty of options. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the daily supply of tea, coffee, and biscuits. The location was convenient, allowing us to easily walk to the beach, bars, and restaurants. The ample car parking space was a bonus, and we were able to explore the entire island within a short drive.

The Victorian property was lovely, with a huge room and a nice view of the sea. the hosts, Des and Linda, were very friendly and helpful. the location was perfect, just a short stroll from the seafront and the restaurants in Shanklin. the breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of choices, including a proper fresh fruit salad. We will definitely be staying at Belmont again.
