The room was spacious and family-friendly, perfect for our needs. The location was convenient, and the cleanliness of the hotel was impressive. We also appreciated the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, especially from Elsie in the restaurant.

One specific situation that stood out to us was the noise issue mentioned in the reviews. Unfortunately, our room was located above the kitchen fans, so we couldn't keep the window open for fresh air.

I stayed at a hotel located in the Galloway area, right in the center of town. The room was spacious, with a large shower and ample storage space. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, providing a warm welcome upon check-in. The breakfast had a good selection and was delicious. The hotel had a lovely atmosphere in the bar area, and the garden/patio overlooking the river was a nice addition.

The room was a bit warm and the window didn't open wide enough, but it cooled down by morning and I still had a good sleep.

Had a fantastic New Year's stay at a lovely hotel. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. the location was perfect, with stunning walks nearby for me and my dog to enjoy. the breakfast was delicious and set us up for a day of exploring. the bar area was cozy and pet-friendly, so we could relax with a drink and have our furry friend by our side. the terrace overlooking the river was also a beautiful spot to relax. a highly recommended hotel for a dog walking trip or a romantic getaway.

the shower and sink were in the bedroom, which wasn't very hygienic, especially when coming out of the separate toilet. the noise from the pub below was quite loud at night, especially when the room was hot and we had to keep the windows open.

I recently had a great stay at a hotel in Dalbeattie. The value for money was excellent, with reasonable prices that didn't break the bank. The attention to detail was impressive, from the cozy atmosphere of the rooms to the little touches like soft fluffy white towels. The location in the centre of town was ideal, making it easy to explore the area. The breakfast was delicious and really set me up for the day ahead. this hotel exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it to others.

Spent xmas holidays in a hotel which offered stunning views of the river, with easy access to car parking and nearby public transportation. Enjoyed a well-heated bed, and toiletries provided in the en-suite bathroom were more than enough.

Paid for a room with a bathtub and a window view, but ended up with neither. the room was smaller than expected, with no phone, and the radiator could not be turned off.
