The property is comfortable and quirky with lots of character. Rooms are clean and comfortable, could use a bit of modernization. Steve was excellent and couldn't help enough. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and reasonably priced. Perfect location within walking distance of shops and pubs.

had a lovely weekend escape with stunning views over the River Severn. The food was excellent and the location was just right - close enough to Ironbridge but still peaceful in a rural setting. Highly recommended and would go again.

I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Ironbridge. the location was perfect - nestled in a lovely quiet area, with a fine view across the gorge. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. Lastly, I was impressed with the attention to detail in the rooms, which had everything I needed, including tea and coffee making facilities. great value for money!

The location of the inn is ideal, as it is within walking distance of shops and other pubs. it is a short drive from Blists Hill where we spent a delightful day enjoying the Christmas celebration. The inn is right in the center of the attractions in the Ironbridge Gorge area, which is known as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the service provided by the staff was outstanding. The breakfast offered tasty options and the pub itself had a cozy atmosphere.

During my Easter stay, I found two of the best things on offer were the clean and comfortable rooms and the friendly hospitality. to that, the ideal location was a plus point as it was an easy stroll to nearby attractions, and the major museums were also just a short drive away. the bar was great and had amazing seating with river views that added to the already fantastic experience.

the frozen vegetables and reheated meat were not the best quality I have experienced.

my recent stay at a charming pub in telford surpassed expectations. loads of character, friendly host, and nice views made for a delightful experience. the comfy beds and tasty breakfast were highlights. customer service was superb, and the real ales were well kept. a great place for history enthusiasts, my son loved the homely feel and layout.

stayed here before in telford and was blown away by bird in hand inn 1774 this time! from the warm welcome to the spacious and clean room, everything was perfect. delicious food, both breakfast and evening meal, served with a smile. family-run feel made it extra special.

Bathroom a bit tired, but functional.

I recently stayed at a charming inn that is steeped in history. The Bird In Hand Inn 1774 made for a fantastic experience for both me and my son. We were able to immerse ourselves in the local history while enjoying the cozy and homely atmosphere of the pub. I was amazed to find that despite its age, the inn was fully equipped yet had retained its old-world charm. The evening meal and breakfast were both exceptional, some of the best I've had during my extensive travels. The owners of the inn were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect, situated next to a picturesque river and close to the Ironbridge museums. We also had the pleasure of exploring the nearby pubs and restaurants.
