Loved the spacious and modern rooms, complete with hairdryer, fridge, and microwave. the information provided on local walks and amenities was really helpful. the location was peaceful and the village shop/cafe just a short walk away was a bonus. the continental breakfast was of good quality and set us up for the day. Parking right outside was convenient, and having our well-behaved dogs allowed was a major plus.

The hard floors throughout the property made it difficult to keep noise down, especially in the mornings. We were concerned that we may have disturbed other guests.

One minor downside was the lack of a bottle opener or corkscrew in the room, although I'm sure the owners would have gladly provided one upon request.

We recently had a romantic escape and stayed at a charming guest house. the hosts were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They provided us with lots of helpful information about the local area and recommended some great places to eat. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had a lovely view from our room. the guest house is also located in a convenient spot, not too far from the main towns and with beautiful views all around. it was a fantastic stay and exceeded our expectations.

The location is perfect for exploring historical sites and it's surrounded by nature. the hosts were very friendly and accommodating with the breakfast menu. there's a well-stocked village shop just across the road, which is very convenient for any late-night cravings.

The signposting can be improved. It can be a bit challenging to find the place just from the postcode.

The value for money at the Birdcage Guest House was excellent, with perfect rooms and comfy beds. The location was quiet and the staff, especially Lesley, treated us like family.
