The Black Bull Inn was the perfect choice for our stay after a nearby wedding. The owners went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, even arranging a cab for us when ours canceled last minute. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The comfortable beds provided a good night's sleep, and the basic amenities were just what we needed for our overnight stay. The included continental breakfast was a nice touch as well.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of luxury amenities, with exclusive private facilities and a beautiful garden area. The service provided was exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff. The location was also ideal for our needs. Our spacious room had all the advantages we needed for a comfortable stay, and the restaurant and bar/lounge area served delicious food and drinks.

Our only minor issue was the lack of a chest of drawers in the room, but this did not detract from our overall experience at this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming village pub. The location was perfect, with easy access to shops in Ongar and just a short walk to Fyfield church. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was exceptional and great value for money. We also enjoyed the lovely beer garden. a fantastic experience that we would happily repeat.
