Had a wonderful stay at this charming inn. The landlady was warm and welcoming upon arrival and the free parking was convenient. The bar had a cozy atmosphere and an impressive selection of gins. The dining experience was top-notch with beautifully presented and delicious food. The room in the courtyard was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely shower and nice toiletries. The breakfast was exceptional, with high-quality produce and tasty options. The sunny courtyard was a great place to relax and soak in the ambiance of the historic inn. All the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The cleanliness throughout the inn was impeccable. a delightful experience.

The only slight downside for me was the playing of Radio 2 during breakfast in the dining room. I personally prefer a quieter environment to enjoy my meal and have conversations with my companions.

I recently stayed at a charming inn with easy access from M62. The Black Horse Inn provided a large and nicely decorated room, complete with a bath and shower in the bathroom. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the food was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the amazing fish and chips for supper, as well as the Eggs Royale at breakfast. The inn is also popular for small weddings and family receptions, and its courtyard provided a nice setting to relax in.

I recently stayed at a charming inn for a weekend getaway with friends. From the moment we arrived, we felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The oxtail cannelloni starter and the tomahawk pork on pork cheek and bean stew were absolute highlights. We even had friends who raved about the rib of beef they shared. The value for money throughout the stay was unbeatable. I highly recommend this inn for a celebration with friends. We will definitely be returning!

The owners and staff were absolutely fabulous and made us feel incredibly welcome. We enjoyed a delicious evening meal in the restaurant, accompanied by great beers and wines. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are modern. The service is top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is delicious and varied, offering a range of options. Plus, the inn is located right opposite a beautiful castle, providing a stunning view.

The menu could use some improvement. The options were limited and overpriced, making it difficult to find something satisfying.
