We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, being just a short walk from the train station and close to the main street. The hotel had a modern feel despite being an older building. The room was exactly like the photos, with a comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. we would definitely recommend this place to our friends for a great stay.

That the hotel is located down a dark alleyway, but this did not affect our overall experience.

The small room was perfect for a short stay, with a super comfy bed and a great shower. We loved the 20% off food and drinks at the pub, as well as the happy hour. The central location was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was generous and delicious.

The bar area at Black Lion Hotel is absolutely superb! The atmosphere is so inviting and the staff are incredibly friendly and nice. We thoroughly enjoyed spending our evenings there, unwinding with a drink and soaking in the ambiance. The artwork throughout the hotel was also greatly appreciated, adding a touch of class to the whole experience. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were spotless, which was a huge plus. Despite the small size of our bedroom, it was still good value for the price we paid. The location of the hotel was fantastic, with everything we needed within walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel for a delightful stay in the heart of the city.

The free parking and the Wi-Fi connection were complementary during my business trip, which helped me a lot to be connected and productive. the hotel location was perfect, near to the city center and to my business conference venue, which made my daily commute much easier.
