the complementary breakfast and Wi-Fi was a nice touch and it made the weekend even more comfortable. the hotel was in a prime location, nestled alongside the river and surrounded by scenic walks. As a nature lover, this was a bonus for me! the cherry on top was the hotel staff's friendliness, they were always there to help and provided excellent service.

The staff were friendly and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable. I can't wait to return in the summer when the outside decking area will be perfect for enjoying the weather. The food at the hotel pub was excellent, with a choice of ales, and there was plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the water. Chester town, with its beautiful attractions and activities, was within a short walking distance. Highly recommended for those looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Felt like home, nothing to complain about.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and had nice amenities like a cafetière and delicious biscuits. Although they didn't have a river view, they were clean and had a big comfortable bed. The hotel had a great breakfast and a lovely pub/restaurant with seating both inside and outside. Its location was ideal, just a 5-minute walk to the city centre.

We stayed here after a day at Chester Zoo. The pub is in a fantastic location by the river Dee, with a floating beer garden to enjoy the sunshine. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was lovely. Free parking and great vegan/gluten-free options at the restaurant were a plus. Would definitely return to the newer accommodation shown in the pictures.

The food menu was varied and of high quality. The pub had a great selection of drinks. The included breakfast was delicious and filling. Free onsite parking. Close to town center and attractions.
