the owners of the place were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They even provided us with a delightful welcome basket filled with fresh bread, milk, cheese, and freshly laid eggs. the barn itself was beautifully reconverted and offered breathtaking views from the sunroom. the entire house was luxuriously furnished and equipped, especially the kitchen which exceeded our expectations. It was incredibly clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. the presence of a huge fireplace in the living room added to the charm of the place. it was the best accommodation I have ever had, and I cannot wait to return.

We got great value for our money at The Bothy Self Catering Accommodation. The room was spacious, characterful, and fully equipped, with a stunning view of the valley and sheep. The location was perfect for exploring Northern Ireland, with easy access to national trust properties, Belfast, and the Mountains of Mourne. The owners, Bernie and Charlie, were incredibly helpful and hospitable, making sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic stay.

The breakfast selection could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

We stayed at a beautifully restored building with incredible views. the hosts were friendly and welcoming. the beds were extremely comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. the house was spacious and well-equipped, with a fantastic kitchen. Everything was clean and there were no spiders. the fireplace was a great addition, and we enjoyed waking up to the sight of sheep from our bedroom window. It was the best accommodation we've ever had.
