Located on a hillside in a quiet residential area, this budget guest house is both safe and centrally located, making it convenient for exploring all the city has to offer. The cozy rooms are clean and comfortable, providing a pleasant stay. The friendly and accommodating owner ensures a warm welcome and excellent service. Breakfast is served in the room, allowing guests to start the day off right.

I stayed at the Brae Guest House for two nights on my business trip. The host and his wife were excellent, even providing a thoughtful tray of assorted food items as I arrived late and left early for breakfast. The room was comfortable with a clean, shared toilet nearby. The overall style and comfort was impressive, with a clean and pleasant bathroom and helpful staff. The breakfast, including tasty potato pancakes, was sufficient and included in the price. The location was superb, with a bus route to the city every 10 minutes.

Can recommend this hotel.

This hotel provides excellent value for money. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and the comfortable beds in the rooms. The modern and very nice bathrooms with good facilities add to the overall pleasant experience. Additionally, the hotel's location in a safe and quiet area, with an excellent bus service right across the road, makes it a convenient choice for exploring the city.

All was satisfactory; no improvements needed.

stayed at a guest house in edinburgh before, but this time brae guest house blew us away! host kadum went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable - even brought me hot milk every night. beds were super comfy, and the location was perfect near arthur's seat. definitely recommend!

The location of the guest house was great and made getting around the city very easy. the breakfast served in the morning was delicious. the owner was friendly and accommodating which made our stay more pleasant.

The beds were uncomfortable and the linens were not as clean as we would have hoped. the room layout made it difficult to use certain appliances near power outlets.

My recent stay at Brae Guest House was nothing short of fantastic. The location was perfect, with easy access to bus routes that took me to all the main attractions in just 15 minutes. I even had the convenience of walking to Arthur's Peak! The cozy vibe of the guest house made me feel right at home, and the staff were incredibly polite and helpful. From accidentally locking myself out to providing me with toiletries upon request, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort.

While the room I stayed in had a sweet view of the neighboring bowling green and terrace back yards, the bathroom was slightly small. Additionally, the continental breakfast was a bit minimalist and didn't quite match the descriptions from previous reviews.
