We stayed at Briarfields for a weekend break. Trish & Pete were amazing hosts, providing excellent local knowledge and making us feel welcome. The hotel was clean and welcoming, with comfortable beds and luxurious towels. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety of choices and delicious locally sourced food. a fantastic stay and we will definitely be returning.

The hotel is in a convenient location, with pleasant walks to the seafront and town for shopping and evening activities. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-presented. The breakfast offers a good selection of options, including a delicious fruit salad and a variety of hot drinks. The staff are friendly and welcoming. it is a much better option than other hotels in the area.

The parking situation can be problematic when the hotel is at full capacity, with cars blocking each other in and limited options for getting your own car out.

This guest house deserves a gold award. Spotlessly clean, large comfy bed, crisp bedding, and luxurious toiletries provided. Shower was instantly hot and refreshing. Perfect breakfast with extra treats. Friendly and thoughtful hosts. Good parking and location.

Fantastic stay at a cozy hotel. the homemade cookies in the room were a nice touch and the breakfast was outstanding. Great location for a business trip, just a short distance from the main meeting points and with easy access to public transport.

The room was a bit too warm at times and the noise from the street traffic was a bit bothersome.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and the rooms were beautifully decorated. the bathroom was spacious and the shower was fantastic. the breakfast served was excellent with plenty of options to choose from. the location was also convenient, with a picturesque walk through nearby gardens down to the seafront.

The host wasn't very warm on arrival and repeated the rules multiple times, which felt a bit patronizing. the facilities were mediocre with no special extras offered.

I had a fantastic stay at Briarfields! the owners were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. the room was spotlessly clean and the bed was made and the room cleaned every day. I loved the fresh towels provided daily, and even the shower was cleaned daily too. the breakfast options were varied and delicious, offering everything from fruit to a full English. the location was convenient, within easy walking distance of the seafront and main center.

The only minor drawback was the limited parking space, but the owners had a solution in place and were always willing to assist us in case our car was blocked in.
