We had a great stay at The Bridge for 4 nights. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed and a nice view. The breakfast options were standard but satisfying. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The owner even had a friendly west highland terrier. Convenient parking and a recommended restaurant next door made our stay even better.

Spent Christmas in a traditional hotel and enjoyed a comfortable king size bed and a well-renovated room that was warm and spacious. The historic building was in a good location with easy overnight parking and provided a good base for exploring the area.

The lack of a shower was inconvenient and an unfortunate oversight in a recently renovated hotel. While the hotel did not offer dinner, there were a couple of pubs in the town that served decent food, or take-away could be ordered from a nearby shop.

I had a delightful stay at The Bridge in Helmsdale. The charming old house had a rich history and boasted a stunning wooden staircase. The owner was welcoming and kind, even filling a flask for us before we went out for the day. The buffet breakfast offered a wide selection of delicious food. The location, situated on the corner of the main street, was convenient for the railway station, Timespan Museum, and the best fish and chip shop in northern Scotland. Additionally, the weather during our stay was absolutely perfect.
