Had an amazing weekend! the rooms were so cozy, and the bed was a dream! Breakfast was tasty and generous, and staff were super friendly. Loved the convenience of shops nearby and the short drive to beautiful coastal spots. Plus, the beer garden was a lovely touch to unwind after a day of exploring.

The mattress was a bit firm for my liking, but I managed by folding up the duvet. there was a slight confusion with check-in as the bar seemed to be the spot.

The Brig & Barrel Hotel in Buckie was a delightful stay for me and my 8-month-old baby. the friendly atmosphere, accommodating staff, and delicious meals made our experience memorable. Despite the room facing a main road, noise was minimal, and the L-shaped bath added a special touch. the enclosed beer garden and play area were perfect for relaxing while the baby napped, and the on-street parking was convenient. We particularly enjoyed the close proximity to landmarks like Portgordon Harbour and the Women's Land Army Memorial , which provided lovely opportunities for family bonding. the relaxation facilities, such as the garden area and the leisure room, further enhanced our enjoyment. It was a truly cozy and family-friendly retreat that we can't wait to visit again.

The smoked guinea fowl at Brig & Barrel in Buckie was pure bonnie joy on a plate! Rooms are cozy, hearty breakfast, and staff top-notch. Nearby, Granny C's serves up the best munchies , and Akash Tandoori's curry game is dynamite. Cons: the bed was as tough as a fisherman's boots, but a duvet workaround saved the day. Brig & Barrel still shines, though, like a diamond in the rough Buckie seascape.

I keep returning for perfect stays. Staff once found my lost jewel. Free Wi-Fi, secure parking, helpful luggage storage. Cozy lounge and tasty meals. Laundry, TV room, comfy bedrooms with breakfast. Great for kids and pets. No smoking, ideal for my upcoming trip.

Only improvement would be having clearer directions for check-in at the bar upon arrival.

the buckie stay was fantastic, but brig & barrel surpassed expectations! spacious rooms, comfy beds, delicious food. the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. can't recommend enough!

Our family loved the Hotel Triplets Entertainment area – a delightful beer garden with a charming play section for the kids! It allowed us parents to unwind while the children had a blast. the well-appointed rooms, accommodating staff, and delicious meals made our stay memorable. My kids wished for softer mattresses in the rooms.
