I recently stayed at The Brown Horse for one night while attending a funeral and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made our early arrival easy and even helped with our laundry, washing, drying, and folding it for us free of charge. The room was lovely with a large bathroom and a very comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast in the cafe area was delicious and the staff couldn't do enough to ensure we had a great stay. The quirky decor added a unique touch and the cleanliness of everything was excellent. I would definitely go back if I needed to revisit the area.

The room wasn't well insulated, as it got pretty cold during the night. the lack of proper curtains made it difficult to sleep in, as the room didn't get very dark even with the lights off.

A perfect base for my requirements, the staff at Brown Horse were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with amenities like TV, tea/coffee, and storage. The food served was varied and well-cooked, both for breakfast and dinner. Despite being a little dated, the hotel provided a warm and comfy atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again for the lovely staff, good food, and beautiful countryside location.

Despite arriving late, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The room exceeded my expectations with its cozy atmosphere and stunning countryside views. I appreciated the comfortable sofa, large TV, and ample power sockets. The bathroom and shower were also nice. Although I didn't opt for breakfast, the in-room coffee and tea were a nice touch. The morning staff member was helpful and kind. All of this for just £35.00 - excellent value!
