The location is perfect, right in the centre of the Dales, with some great looking walks nearby. There is also a better pub just next to it, where you can relax and have a drink. Additionally, the room is very comfortable with an ensuite bathroom, well equipped with toiletries. The staff is friendly and welcoming, providing exceptional service. The breakfast is really good with high-quality ingredients.

Great food and drink, with a fantastic selection of beers including my favorite pint of the whole trip. the food was delicious and helped restore my energy levels after a long day of walking. the atmosphere inside the bar was amazing, reminding me of a great night I had at another hotel. the bedroom had everything we needed and had great views of the surrounding area.

The decor in some areas looked tired and could use a facelift. the menu lacked options for those looking for lighter options or salads.

Found a quiet spot in a beautiful area, close to some stunning walks and views. the staff were helpful and welcoming, and the decor inside was a mix of modern and traditional that worked well. There was wifi, and the food was ok, with a nice local beer selection.

The recently refurbished room I stayed in was comfortable and tastefully decorated. The cleanliness throughout the inn was impeccable. The power shower in the bathroom was a refreshing way to start the day. The attention to detail in the room, with beautiful drapes and a quality super-king sized bed, added a touch of luxury.

The only minor downsides were the slightly disappointing evening meal, with the fish course being a bit dry and overcooked. Additionally, the shower head in the bathroom had a tendency to fall out and the water pressure was low.

Located in a fantastic area in the Dales, the Buck Inn offers comfortable ensuite rooms and a friendly staff. the breakfast provided was delicious and the dinner menu, although simple, can be customized if requested in advance. the chef is highly skilled and we even had the pleasure of trying pheasant for dinner. the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, providing great assistance when needed. there are numerous scenic walking trails right at the inn's doorstep.
