The hotel was clean and well-decorated with breathtaking views of the mountains and river. the location was ideal, situated in a beautiful area with lots to see and do. the breakfast was delicious with a good range of options to choose from. the restaurant had great food and was reasonably priced.

The only negative was that the road noise was sometimes loud, and the single-glazed windows did not do much to block it out. the Wi-Fi and phone signals were weak, making it difficult to stay connected.

the staff at Buckley Arms were incredibly friendly and made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. the highlight of my visit was the delicious evening meal, which consisted of flavorful Chinese dishes. the breakfast, served in a bright and airy breakfast room with a beautiful view, was also exceptional. the bedroom and bathroom were of a high standard, with luxurious touches such as toiletries, an espresso coffee machine, and a selection of teas. the retro-style furnishings in the lounge, hall, and landing added a charming touch, transporting me back to a bygone era.

The family who runs the hotel were friendly and accommodating, even though they are relatively new to the business. I appreciated that the hotel is dog-friendly, allowing me to bring my furry friend along. The main restaurant offers a delightful selection of Chinese food, a unique addition to the menu. Breakfast was served in a lovely room with panoramic views of the hills, and the Welsh breakfast on offer was absolutely delicious. had another great stay in dinas mawddwy, but this time at a budget-friendly inn. the mix of period antiques and modern touches at buckley arms was impressive. the owners went above and beyond with dog-friendly extras, excellent spirits, and delicious chinese food. well done!
