The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, so there were a few areas that needed improvement. the shower in our room was a bit small, which was a bit inconvenient for larger individuals.

The hotel had a lovely laid back feel about it, which I really enjoyed. The beds were incredibly comfy and the staff were all very nice and polite. The breakfast in the morning was superb, with a great selection of options. Additionally, I really appreciated the tea and coffee facilities in the room, as well as the little sachets of hot chocolate for non-tea/coffee drinkers like myself.

The room we stayed in had a poor ensuite with a blocked sink and black mould on the floor. the reception area was unkempt and confusing to navigate.

the rooms were spacious and extremely clean, with incredibly comfortable beds. We booked two rooms and although one was initially cold, the staff promptly provided a heater and the room became nice and warm. We had a fantastic night's sleep both nights and the breakfast choices were excellent. the staff were friendly and approachable, and having the pub attached to the accommodation was a bonus. it was a highly enjoyable stay and I would definitely recommend it to others. Thank you to all the staff, including the cleaners who were also very friendly.
