Despite some negative reviews, our experience at this hotel was quite pleasant. The location is ideal, being close to the Essex coast, and the pub atmosphere was enjoyable without a large screen showing sports in front of you. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. We would be happy to stay here again next time we are in the area.

The breakfast was freshly cooked and really lovely, and the lady who served us was very pleasant. the location was also great, as it was quiet and separate from the main building. the room itself was nicely decorated and clean, making it a comfortable stay.

The bed was a bit lumpy and soft, and the pillows were extremely soft for my liking. It would have been nice to have a couple of slightly firmer pillows.

The staff were friendly and helpful, making the check-in process easy. The hotel facilities were modern and well-maintained. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, cooked to order and served with a smile. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

Nothing not to love.

We stayed at The Bull for a weekend visit to friends and were immediately impressed with the welcoming atmosphere and beautifully decorated rooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the cleanliness was top-notch. The owner, Sara, made us feel right at home and the food was outstanding. The breakfast, made from local produce, was served hot and the timing was ideal. The staff provided the friendliest customer service and were even able to accommodate our late arrival. a fantastic stay that I would highly recommend.

The service housekeeping was impeccable, with the rooms being well-maintained and spotlessly clean. I was also pleasantly surprised to be greeted with a welcome drink upon arrival, which added a nice touch to the overall experience.

We were also impressed with the excellent food and attentive service from the staff. the owner personally made an effort to welcome us and was hands-on in serving food and clearing tables. the breakfast was amazing, and we especially loved the delicious porridge. Plus, the location across from the cricket club was an added bonus. We would definitely choose Bull At Great Totham again if we're in the area.
