the location was excellent, with easy access to the marina, city centre, and transportation connections. the room was cosy, exceptionally clean, and well thought through with attention to detail. the comfortable bed and clean bathroom made for a pleasant stay. the breakfast, cooked to order, was delicious and the staff were friendly and accommodating. highly recommended!

The room was big, cosy, and had big windows that opened well. The bathroom was spacious with a nice big shower and individual toiletries. The staff was friendly, offered great local recommendations, and even did our laundry. The breakfast was excellent, with a menu to order from, and the location was within walking distance to the harbor.

The value for money at Caraneal was great, with a clean room and all the expected facilities included. The location was excellent, with easy access to the Mayflower Memorial, and it felt safe and secure. The staff were extremely helpful and even offered to store our bikes securely.

I recently stayed at The Caraneal for a few nights while visiting the area. The hotel was bright and cheery, and the hostess gave us a friendly welcome. The property was excellently maintained, and our spotless clean bedroom was lovely. The Landlady had great local knowledge and recommended an excellent restaurant she had actually visited herself. The breakfast was delicious, and the service was very friendly. We were also able to park our car for free in the road overnight. a fantastic experience!

Some aspects of the room were tired, such as the stained carpet and worn furniture, making it less pleasant for prolonged stays. Lack of sufficient space for personal belongings when getting ready for bed is a minor issue, but worth noting.

I had a wonderful stay at the Caraneal. the bed was incredibly comfortable and the ensuite bathroom was spotless. I appreciated the individual toiletries provided, which were a nice touch. the guesthouse itself was cozy and had a bright and cheery atmosphere. the staff, particularly the ladies I spoke to, were very friendly and accommodating. They even had great recommendations for restaurants in the area. the location was convenient, with a 15-minute walk to the town center and beautiful views along the way. it was a lovely experience.
