I had a lovely 1 night stay at The Carpenters Arms for a nearby wedding. The staff were friendly and allowed us to check in early, plus we got an upgrade! The room was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The ambiance and beautiful garden view were unique and refreshing. The salmon meal I had was perfect for a healthy eater like me. a great experience!

The Carpenters Arms is a lovely surprise for a stopover. Situated next to fields with a rural feel, it offers a spacious and comfortable room. The friendly and efficient staff serve very good, reasonably priced food. The pretty village location with lots of external seating adds to the charm. Additionally, it is conveniently close to many tourist spots, making it a perfect choice for exploring the area.

The bathroom could have been cleaner, with black mould around the shower base and issues with the rise and fall basin waste controller.

I recently stayed at a charming country pub in Kent and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect for my needs and the rooms were incredibly comfortable. The food and drinks provided were absolutely amazing, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I felt warmly welcomed and taken care of throughout my stay.

One minor issue I encountered was that my room was visible from the fire escape/rear entrance, but this was quickly resolved by closing the curtains. Although the access door occasionally slammed, it didn't have a significant impact on my overall experience.
