We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The location was perfect for our visit to Highclere Castle and Newbury Races. The breakfasts were great with lots of choices. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the outdoor areas were a nice touch, especially the covered area showing World Cup matches. The accommodation was conveniently located next to the pub and the rooms were clean and nicely laid out.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a charming countryside pub nestled in a quiet little village, conveniently located just off the A34. The hotel was perfect for my needs, with comfortable rooms upstairs in the adjoining building. Despite the steep stairs, the staff were very attentive and made sure everything was taken care of. The breakfast, served in the pub restaurant, was fantastic and reasonably priced. The location was also ideal, being only about a mile away from a popular attraction, making it a quick 10-minute drive on warmer days.
