Our stay at the Castle Hotel was absolutely delightful. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and at home. The Scottish breakfast was outstanding and truly a highlight of our stay. We also enjoyed the competitively priced beer available at the hotel. The atmosphere was cozy and charming, making it a perfect retreat in the beautiful and peaceful surroundings.

Now, during our visit, there was a minor issue with the WiFi in our room and the phone signal was weak. However, this didn't overshadow the overall positive experience.

We got great value for our money at the Castle Hotel. The room was fantastic, clean, and had a beautiful view of the sea. The location was perfect in a charming village, and the staff treated us like family, making us feel cared for and not just like another guest.

The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was if there were more vegetarian options on the menu.

The daily room servicing and Tina's kind offer to iron our outfits for the wedding made us feel taken care of. We truly appreciated the warmth, friendliness, cleanliness, and attention to detail from John, Denise. It's clear that they genuinely care about their guests.

We felt special during our stay. There's truly nothing to complain about.

I recently stayed at The Castle in Portmahomack for a wedding. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the family room overlooking the sea was spacious and immaculate. The beds were extremely comfortable and the amenities in the room were replenished daily. Breakfast was amazing, with high-quality food cooked to perfection. The small attention to detail and warm hospitality made this my favorite hotel stay in Scotland.

I enjoyed winding down with a walk along the shore each evening. The breakfast was filling and the atmosphere cozy. Can't wait to visit again!

I recently stayed at The Castle Hotel for 8 days during my trip to Scotland. The staff was amazing and welcoming, and the location was fantastic. I loved being able to park in front of the hotel and enjoy the seaside, with the added bonus of spotting dolphins from the pub window. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the heating kept us cozy throughout our stay. The hotel even went above and beyond by contacting us about a forgotten bag, allowing us to retrieve it. a warm, friendly, and beautifully decorated hotel that I would definitely recommend and stay at again.

Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, and the hosts were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The food at the hotel, both dinner and breakfast, was fantastic and served with a smile. The setting is lovely, and we particularly enjoyed watching the sunset from the beach. The staff were all super friendly and made us feel very welcome. The location of the hotel is beautiful, with some lovely walks close by.

my recent stay at the castle was outstanding. it exceeded my expectations, even compared to my previous visits. the scottish breakfast and competitively priced beer were highlights, along with the friendly and hardworking staff.
