I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They were attentive and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely shower that helped me relax after a long day of exploring. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I particularly enjoyed sitting outside in the lovely garden, soaking up the morning sun while enjoying my meal. The location of the hotel was ideal, being situated in the suburbs but within a short drive to the town centre.

I would highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a comfortable and luxurious place to stay.

We had an amazing stay at The Chetwynde Hotel! The room was absolutely beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and we got an incredible value for our money. The hotel's location was perfect for us as it was quiet and relaxed, yet not too far from shops and attractions like Wray Castle, Windermere Lake, and the beach. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast even better would be more flexible timing options. It would have been great if breakfast could be served a bit later, especially for those on holiday who would like to sleep in a little longer.

We had a very pleasant surprise during our recent stay at a hotel in Barrow-in-Furness. The room we were assigned, Room 11, exceeded our expectations. It was spacious and comfortable, with a good big bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. The owner and staff were clearly devoted to providing excellent service, as they were all hard at work, ensuring every guest had a smile on their face. The breakfast spread was impressive and set out in a clean and inviting dining room. we were thrilled with our experience at this hotel.

We had a fantastic Christmas party here, with a delicious 3-course meal and a lively disco afterwards. the salmon and prawn starter was absolutely lovely, with plenty of salmon to enjoy. the party atmosphere was great and the staff were brilliant, making sure everyone had a fantastic time. We also loved the fact that there was ample parking space for everyone attending the party, making it convenient for all.

That the roast potatoes in the main course were still a bit hard. However, everything else was spot on, so it didn't really dampen our overall experience.

The location was very convenient as it was close to the main attractions. the room was large and well-equipped with a desk which was very useful for work. the staff were friendly and helpful whenever needed. the breakfast menu was great with many delicious options.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent and the room was of a really good standard. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The hotel is conveniently located, being right next to the local hospital and close to both the town centre and our favorite pub, The Strawberry. It's also within easy reach of all the attractions in the area. The rooms are comfortable and accommodating, with nice personal touches like homemade biscuits in a jar. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the local area. The hotel also offers plenty of secure private parking and well-presented gardens.

The thin walls in the rooms can make it a bit noisy at times.

Our room at Chetwynde was spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing stay. The breakfast service was superb and exceeded our expectations. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the lounge area, unwinding after exploring the town. I highly recommend this hotel for future visits.
