The rooms were ready for early check-in and had charming slanted features. The breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of food and drink options nearby. The staff was incredibly nice and attentive, and there were lovely touches in the room that made it feel special.

Our room at The City Hotel was exceptional. It was like a cozy apartment with a full kitchen, separate seating area, and two bedrooms. We were pleasantly surprised by the space and comfort. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic, with everything we wanted to see in close proximity. We also appreciated the complimentary water and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Despite a minor buzzing noise at night, we had a quiet and comfortable stay. I highly recommend The City Hotel for its great rooms and excellent service.

I stayed at this lovely hotel for a weekend getaway. The room, although small, was perfect for my needs. Surprisingly, it was quiet despite being above a pub and near busy traffic lights. The manageress arranged a fantastic taxi service that was punctual for my party. The location was excellent, with easy access to beautiful riverside walks and everything I needed nearby. The staff, including the attentive cleaner, were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, updated, and comfortable, with great toilet and shower facilities. a wonderful experience.

Stayed over the Christmas holidays and had a great time. the hotel had a perfect location, right in the heart of the city and close to all the action. the staff was welcoming and helpful, and they made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed the freshly cooked breakfast each morning and the well-equipped room that had all the necessary amenities. we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. the bar staff downstairs were friendly and the tea and coffee selection and sweets in room was good. the location was excellent, with key attractions within walking distance and convenient access to transportation.

The room was missing a couple of little things that would have made the stay easier, such as a mirror in the bedroom and a stronger Wi-Fi connection. the floors were very creaky, which caused some disturbance during the night.

The staff at this hotel are top-notch, always there to assist with a smile. They go above and beyond, offering to help carry our bags upon arrival. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the city centre, making it very convenient for exploring. The rooms are comfortable, with cozy beds and a fridge for keeping drinks cool.
