Spending Christmas at this hotel was a delightful experience. the warm welcome made our stay even more memorable. We loved the stylish decor which blended modern paintings within a historic building. the immaculately furnished room featured a little fridge, a coffee/tea station, and a lovely kitchenette. the view of the river was the perfect way to start our day. Plus, we could use Alexa as a mini "concierge" making sure our needs were taken care of. the best part was the delicious local cake left in our room.

We wished that breakfast was available within the hotel as it would have been a perfect start to our day. we had to park around the corner from the hotel, which was slightly inconvenient.

We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and modern room at Clarendon. The beautiful period features and quietness made for a relaxing stay. The cleanliness and comfortable bed added to the overall comfort. The view from our room was also a highlight. Although there were a few minor inconveniences, like the lack of a reading light and our preference for a standard kettle, they didn't detract from our enjoyable experience. We also appreciated the use of Alexa for concierge services, even though it took some getting used to. we had a great and comfortable stay at Clarendon and would recommend it without hesitation.

We loved our stay at this luxurious hotel! The location was ideal, nestled in a quieter part of town but still surrounded by a vibrant neighborhood. It was wonderful to be able to explore the cafes and shops along the street in front of the house. The hotel itself was situated in a quiet residential area, surrounded by the finest properties in the area. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. From the ironing facilities to the tea and coffee facilities, everything was thoughtfully provided. We especially enjoyed the sitting area and dining table, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our every need was met.

The single room was lovely & clean, especially the shower room. The bed linens had a lovely not too strong scent. The room was a good size with enough hanging space, desk, and bedside table. The ensuite shower room was a decent size too. Kettle in the room worked fine, nice touch with fresh milk in the small room fridge. Lots of car parking options available.

The hotel is located in a quieter part of town, nestled among the finest properties in the area. On-street parking in front of the house is plentiful and convenient. The room is beautifully decorated with modern amenities, including a well-equipped kitchenette. The bed is large and comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. The bathroom features a spacious shower area with a two-way showerhead. The hotel owner, Kenny, is friendly and provides excellent communication.

It would be better if guests had more control over the heating system. While there is a lovely throw available, it would be nice to have the option to adjust the heating according to personal preference.

The value for money at The Clarendon was exceptional, with a beautifully decorated room and incredible views. The location was convenient, and the staff treated us like family.
