We had a wonderful stay at a hotel near Stansted airport off M11. The best aspects were the cleanliness, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, and friendly staff. Not one thing.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. The prices were reasonable and the attention to detail from the staff was impressive. The location was also convenient and well looked after by all the friendly staff.

We stayed here for a stopover before our early flight from Stansted. The location was perfect, close to the airport and easy access to the M11 and M25. I struggled a bit with the TV, but that was more down to me not being very tech-savvy, but this wasn't a big issue as I just wanted a good night's sleep ready for my business meeting. The Cock Inn Hotel in Sheering is a hidden gem that offers great value for money. the location is perfect, right in the center of a quaint little village. Secondly, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Additionally, the basic amenities provided in the rooms, such as unlimited hot water and huge fluffy towels, are a nice touch. Lastly, the breakfast served without even having to ask for smoked bacon was a pleasant surprise.
