We, as trekkers and a group of friends, really enjoyed the rustic country pub vibe, good car parking, and free wifi at the Cricketers Clavering. The rooms were beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and had all the necessary amenities. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure our stay went smoothly. The breakfast had a great choice of options and the service was good.

The main Inn, a lovely character building, had exposed beams and a cozy roaring fire, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The bed sheets felt like new, crisp and clean, which is something every frequent traveler appreciates. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the manager even took the time to address any concerns I had, showing that they genuinely care about their guests. The hotel also had a beautiful dining restaurant and a bar/lounge area, perfect for enjoying a drink or meal. The service from the housekeeping staff was impeccable, ensuring that my room was always clean and tidy. The hotel also offered amenities such as ironing facilities, heating, tea and coffee facilities, and free toiletries, providing enhanced comfort and convenience. Wi-Fi was available in the rooms, allowing me to stay connected during my stay. this place provided exceptional comfort and quality services, and I will definitely be staying here again.

Quiet and private location with ample parking. the converted bungalow where we stayed was spacious and comfy. the staff were friendly and eager to please. the food was delicious and of high quality, with great prices for the quality of service. We had a delightful stay at a charming country inn with a fabulous atmosphere. The 16th-century building added character, and the bar and restaurant were wonderfully inviting. The owner and staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. Our room was cozy and comfortable, providing plenty of space to relax. The breakfast was lovely, and we heard from other guests that the food was fabulous. We will definitely return for a romantic getaway here in the future. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located just across the road from the pub, making it easy to access the excellent food and friendly service. The rooms are decorated to a high spec, and the new accommodation block offers a comfortable stay with a lovely view across the countryside. The rooms have everything you need, including a small private terrace and a large comfortable double bed. The owners have done a great job converting nearby properties into accommodation, offering a unique experience.

The staff could be a bit more welcoming, as some reviews mentioned a lack of smiles and functional service.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming pub with lots of character. The courtyard room we stayed in was lovely, and the car park located next to the rooms made it easy for us to transfer our bags. The breakfast provided was excellent, and we couldn't fault anything about it. Additionally, the staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

Beautiful accommodation with lovely, spacious rooms and fantastic features. The staff are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The food in the pub is excellent, both for lunch and breakfast. Great value for money.
