I recently stayed in a hotel right in the centre of town, close to all the amenities. The location was perfect for exploring the area and enjoying the local attractions. The hotel had a wonderful outdoor beer garden, which was a great place to relax and enjoy a drink. The rooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any requests. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast, which was incredibly good value for the price. it was a pleasant stay in a convenient location with great facilities.

There was a slight issue with the bathroom door, as it couldn't close properly and would often jam.

The bed was exceptionally comfy, and the modern bathroom with a walk-in shower was a nice touch. Plus, the breakfast was great value for money. I had a fantastic stay at this hotel.

Despite the new 'no dog' policy, the barman went out of his way to accommodate us and our well-behaved pooch. We truly appreciated this personal touch and felt welcomed throughout our visit. This hotel offers great value for money, with spacious and very clean rooms. The beds are comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The modern bathrooms are a welcome addition, especially the walk-in showers. The attention to detail in the rooms, such as the large bath towels and ambient lighting, adds to the overall comfortable stay.

I recently stayed at The Cross Keys in Peebles for the Beltane Festival. The staff were friendly and efficient, despite our late check-in. The kitchen was still open for food, which was a pleasant surprise. Our room at the rear of the building was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was spacious with a good shower. The cooked breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced. The location was perfect, right in the center of town. I highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The value for money at Cross Keys Wetherspoon was excellent, with clean and comfortable rooms that had a lovely country pub feel. The location was perfect, right in the center, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The location of this hotel is excellent, right in the heart of the town and close to the bus station. the room was spacious and well equipped, with a hair dryer, iron and tea/coffee-making facilities. the breakfast was delicious and extremely cheap, served by a friendly and helpful waitress. We also appreciated the variety of real ales available at a reasonable price.

There is no parking facility for guests, which can be a problem. We found that the check-in process was slow and confusing, as there is no separate point for hotel reception.
