I had a fantastic stay at the inn! The beautiful deck at the back provided breathtaking views of Ullswater lake, and the comfortable beds ensured a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, making for an excellent experience overall.

The bathroom was modern with a great shower. The lounge had cozy log fires. Staff were friendly. Dogs allowed in the room. Complimentary tea, coffee, and fresh milk. Clean and tidy room with comfortable bed. Helpful staff. Manager provided excellent customer service by posting forgotten items. Manager offered delicious sandwiches when the restaurant was closed at 9 pm.

Had a great Xmas stay at this hotel. Loved the big comfy bed and the lovely room decor. the location was perfect, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to local attractions. the staff were very helpful and accommodating, providing an early breakfast for my event. the food at the restaurant was delicious, with generous portions.

The room could have been better lit, as it felt a bit dark. the heating could have stayed on longer, especially considering the cold weather.

I stayed at the Crown Inn and it was totally worth the money! The room was fantastic, equipped with a comfy bed, a brilliant bathroom, and lovely touches like soft toilet paper and real milk for coffee. The location by the lake was perfect, and the staff were friendly and efficient.

Hotel breakfast could be improved with better eggs Benedict and less sauce.

The view was beautiful and the staff were friendly. A river ran past the hotel and it was a nice spot to relax by. the location was great as there were plenty of local attractions nearby to visit.

The room was too stuffy and the window wouldn't open properly. the sofa bed was uncomfortable and there was a missing towel in the bathroom.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the comfortable beds and the well-presented hotel. The menu offered a small but delicious selection of meals, making it hard to choose just one. We also appreciated the thoughtful touch of having a flask of milk in the room instead of the usual UHT milk. The hotel's dog-friendly policy was a big plus, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel right in the centre of the village. The location was perfect, as it was right on the riverbank and in the centre of Pooley Bridge. The view from my room was stunning, overlooking the river. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with clean and modern bedrooms that were well thought out. The staff were friendly and efficient, providing excellent service. The breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying.
