I recently stayed at The Cuckoo in a lovely big and clean room for the night. The self-serve coffee machine, good choice of teas, and plenty of biscuits and nibbles in the room were a nice touch. The location in a quiet residential area was attractive, although it did mean a 15-minute walk or taxi ride to find an evening meal in an unfamiliar area. The Cuckoo pub downstairs was charming and the host there was as helpful as possible considering our circumstances. this was total value for money.

The room was huge and had a comfortable feel to it. the ensuite was modern and clean. They had a Tassimo machine and a variety of tea options, which was a nice touch. the location was great, with easy access to bus stops and the train station. It was also close to restaurants if you wanted more variety. Plus, the pub downstairs was cozy and served delicious pizzas.

The owner didn't seem interested in dealing with us directly, which was disappointing. the kettle and coffee maker were dirty and weren't properly cleaned by the housekeeping staff.

Attending The Garage Venue to see @Skerryvore, we were fortunate to find The Cuckoo N1. The warm welcome, spotless rooms, and quiet night’s sleep were remarkable. The location in Islington was perfect, with easy access to the tube and nearby attractions. La Muse, a 15-minute walk away, offered outstanding food. Friendly staff, spacious room, and comfy bed added to the delightful experience. Will definitely return!

I recently stayed at The Cuckoo N1 for a concert at the Garage. The staff were kind and accommodating, the room was quiet and comfortable, and the hotel was conveniently located near the Caledonian Road Barnsbury Overground station. I also appreciated the option to extend my check-out time for a small fee and the helpful tip about using a credit card for transportation. it was a great stay!

We had a fantastic stay at The Cuckoo N1. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the owner, Michael, gave us a warm welcome. The hotel facilities were great, with lots of free snacks and drinks in the room. The location was in a peaceful and nice area, with the nearest tube station just a short walk away. It was convenient to explore the city from this location.
