We stayed at the Cumberland Arms for a weekend getaway with friends and it was fantastic. The pub is tucked away in a quiet spot but is still easily accessible. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room had a charming vintage feel with comfortable furniture and a huge bed. It was spotlessly clean. We loved that they brought breakfast to our room with real coffee. For the price, it was a lovely stay and we will definitely be back.

Located down the hill in an area that can seem a bit spooky at night, The Cumberland Arms is a lively pub and great music venue close to the city centre. The spacious rooms are comfortably furnished with thoughtful extras like fresh coffee and sweeties. The breakfast is superb and can be delivered to your room. However, there is no reception area and the TV in some rooms seems to have vanished.

Lovely staff, good size bedrooms, great breakfast, friendly atmosphere, excellent location near music venues and pubs.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money. The room was spacious and had a great view of the sunrise over the Tyne valley. The staff were friendly and provided great service. The breakfast options were fantastic with vegan and vegetarian choices.

I got great value for my money at Cumberland Arms Bed & Breakfast. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had lovely 'real' furniture. The location was ideal, with art studios and music venues nearby, and it was just a short walk to the quayside and city centre. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing us to leave our luggage after check out so we could explore the area.

The cozy B&B we stayed at this Christmas provided us with a wonderful experience. We enjoyed the spacious room and the amazing breakfast served in our room. the location was great, close to many bars and restaurants. We also appreciated the friendly staff who gave us great recommendations for places to visit in the area.

The water in the taps did not run very cold, and this was difficult during the hot nights. We had trouble cooling down and had to make a trip to a nearby takeaway to grab some cold water.

Had an amazing time spending Christmas at this cozy pub-hotel. the room was warm and inviting, with a super comfortable bed. the best part was the delicious breakfast that was delivered right to our room on time. the location was great, just a short walk to the city center and with plenty of parking available. Plus, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

That some rooms are located on higher floors and there are no elevators, so be mindful if you have difficulty with stairs. it could be a little challenging to access the premises if the bar was not open upon arrival.

Kind and friendly welcome, wonderful view, comfortable room, safe environment, close to a great vegan inn.
