I had a fantastic stay at this place nestled in the hills. The cosy cottage and helpful staff provided a welcome relief from the horrible M6 traffic. The room was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including ironing facilities, heating, and a sitting area. I particularly appreciated the free Wi-Fi, which allowed me to stay connected throughout my stay. The soundproofed rooms ensured a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, and the garden furniture provided a lovely spot to enjoy the scenic surroundings. The on-site dining restaurant served delicious meals, and the in-room breakfast was a convenient option. The staff was attentive and took the slight criticism in the way it was intended, aiming to improve customers' experiences. All in all, it was a nice break and one I intend on doing again.

The decorated common areas and the warm fireplace made me feel right at home. the staff went above and beyond to make the holiday spirits high, with cheerful greetings and even some Christmas treats. The location of the inn was also a big plus, as it offered stunning views of the surrounding countryside and was conveniently located near charming shops and bookstores in the town center.

The location of the Dalesman Country Inn was perfect for exploring the area. Being in Sedbergh gave me easy access to all the beautiful sights nearby. Plus, I loved being able to eat in the Inn without having to go far. The breakfast was excellent, especially the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. And the young female staff member who served breakfast was incredibly lovely and attentive.

Although I had read in the database that some rooms were small, I didn't mind because I knew what to expect. However, the small size of Room 5 at the Dalesman was a bit challenging.
