I stayed in a hotel near the park - the room had a beautiful French style bed and comfy facilities. the breakfast had various yummy options. I LOVED the cozy leisure room. I'd choose it again! Photos don't do justice to the bed comfort.

The room was spacious and well decorated. the bed was very comfortable and we had an excellent sleep. the food was amazing and we really enjoyed the breakfast. the staff was friendly and attentive. the location was great, close to many hiking trails and beautiful scenery. We also appreciated the free parking.

The shower went cold during one of our showers which was a bit uncomfortable. the car park was not well-lit at night, making it difficult to navigate.

This hotel is a little gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. The attention to detail and small personal touches really made a difference. The location, on the edge of the moors and close to Lydford village, was perfect for exploring the area. Our room was spacious and had all the facilities we needed, including a comfy bed for a great night's sleep. The breakfast options were fantastic, with delicious food to start the day off right. We will definitely be back!

The Inn is situated on the edge of Dartmoor, making it a great location for bike riders exploring the area. The restaurant downstairs offers excellent food with a pepper sauce that has received rave reviews. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with little touches like fresh milk in the fridge and herbal tea bags. The staff provide impeccable service, going above and beyond to cater to guests' needs. Breakfast is also worth mentioning, offering a delicious start to the day.

Some guests have mentioned road noise at night, which could be a slight inconvenience for light sleepers.

We stayed at The Dartmoor Inn for an overnight stay during our onward journey. The staff were friendly, courteous, and professional. Our room was perfect and the bed was very comfortable. The food in the beautiful restaurant was a delight to look at and delicious to eat. The chef, who I believe is one of the owners, clearly has a passion for food. I would absolutely recommend The Dartmoor Inn without hesitation.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming inn, located on the edge of Dartmoor. Our spacious room was luxurious, clean, and had a comfy bed. The friendly staff provided excellent service and the breakfast, made with local produce, was delicious. We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere by the fireplace and the stunning views of the moorland. The inn also offers great options for evening meals.

The car park could benefit from better lighting at night.
