The location of the hotel was perfect for us as it was in the heart of the community and close to the center of the village. We enjoyed being next to the river, which provided a peaceful atmosphere. The room was adequate and clean, with an ensuite bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when we couldn't find parking due to the restaurant being exceptionally busy. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying, helping us start our day on a positive note.

The facilities and decor were a little tired and in need of some TLC.

We had a great stay at a charming inn located in a beautiful village near the magnificent black mountains. The location was perfect, with easy access to the high street shops and the stunning river Tawe. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee facilities and a relaxing view of the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious and filling, setting us up for a day of exploring. It was a shame that parking was a challenge on one occasion due to the busy restaurant.

That the shower had a weak water pressure, which made it more of a steady trickle.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Swansea for a night and it was fantastic value for money. The room was really comfortable and cozy, and the location was perfect for my needs. The staff at the Dillwyn Arms were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home.

The breakfast experience could have been better if there were more vegetarian options available.

The pub with rooms offered unbeatable value for money. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. the room, next to the river, was spotless and had a comfortable double bed. the bar and restaurant had a nice ambiance, and we enjoyed sitting on the outside patio. the portions served were generous, and the pub fayre was basic but tasty. the location of the hotel in a small town was convenient for exploring the nearby areas, including the local retail park.

The wifi in the room could have been stronger. there was no cereal or fruit option at breakfast, although the cooked breakfast options were delicious.

the family room was perfect for us, with a comfortable double bed for the adults and two separate single beds for the kids. It was nice to have some privacy with the kids in their own room. the location of the hotel was also fantastic. I used to live in Pontardawe, so I know the area well, but even if you're new to the place, there are plenty of shops, cafes, superstores. the owner was very accommodating when a light in our room broke. He couldn't fix it, but he kindly brought us a lamp as a temporary solution.

We had a fantastic stay at the Dillwyn Arms. the staff were friendly and helpful, showing us to our room and giving us information about the area. the food was delicious, especially the mixed grill and chicken and ribs. the portions were generous, and we even had leftovers to share with a little cat we found nearby. the bed was comfortable, the shower was nice, and the breakfast was tasty. We also appreciated being given a back door key in case we returned late. Thank you, Dillwyn Arms, for a great experience! We will definitely be back.
