I recently stayed at a smashing hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location was beautiful and the staff was extremely attentive, even with the staffing issues they were facing. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and accessing the hotel after hours was easy. The room I stayed in was huge and had a comfortable bed. The ensuite bathroom was amazing, with good toiletries provided. The hotel also catered well for dogs, which was a plus for me as I brought mine along. The hotel even had a special pooches menu, which I had never seen before in my travels. The breakfast was top-notch and the hotel went above and beyond to make my wife's birthday special, delivering flowers and setting up a birthday banner on our table. I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Bathroom radiator wasn't working properly.

My recent stay at Dormy House was fantastic! We had a great New Year's Eve party with a delicious buffet, amazing fireworks, and a fun-filled disco/singer. The atmosphere created by the owner and the super staff was absolutely top-notch. We also enjoyed an excellent Christmas carvery dinner before that. The value for money and the overall experience were outstanding. I will definitely be returning for lunches throughout the year.

Despite facing a difficult situation with a family member being hospitalized, the staff went above and beyond to support us. They offered lifts and ensured that the hospital could easily contact us. The food was absolutely fantastic, with an excellent menu and delicious meals. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, making us feel like friends rather than guests. The rooms were lovely, with stunning views that made us feel like we were on a vacation abroad. It was such a peaceful and relaxing break from our busy lives. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Renovation noise woke us up early and disturbed our sleep. Thin walls, could hear everything in the neighboring room's bathroom.

The Christmas decorations in the hotel were top-notch, really getting us in the festive mood. the breakfast was tasty and the staff were helpful in accommodating our requests. the location of the hotel was perfect as it was close to the shops and beach. We also loved the comfortable beds, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Our room was a bit outdated and lacked certain amenities we expected, such as a fridge or a coffee maker. Unfortunately, the noise levels were quite high at night, making it difficult to sleep peacefully.
