The hotel itself was immaculately clean and well-maintained, making us feel instantly at home. The room we were given was spacious and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was excellent, and the walk-in wardrobe was a pleasant surprise.

I was pleasantly surprised by the range of breakfast choices available, and the fact that I didn't have to pay extra for smoked salmon was a bonus. The room itself was fantastic, spacious and spotlessly clean, with all the amenities I needed including ironing facilities. The staff really went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction.

It was also close to many local attractions, which made it easy for us to explore the area. We really appreciated the warm welcome and the comfortable atmosphere.

We had an excellent stay at a rustic country pub near Bridgnorth. The Down Inn has great character, with a warm and cosy atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even though they were incredibly busy. The food was really good, with a good menu of traditional dishes at very reasonable prices. The carvery was excellent and the breakfast was top class, with freshly cooked poached eggs. We also appreciated the ample free parking and the convenient layout of the hotel.
