I stayed in a cozy room with a sea view balcony at Downs, Babbacombe. Enjoyed a hearty breakfast with a variety of options. the staff was friendly and helpful. Despite minor issues, the overall experience was delightful. I'd recommend this hotel.

I had a great stay with clean rooms, good bedding, and towels. the location was fantastic with incredible seafront views. the breakfast had a good variety and quality, and the staff, especially Beth, were friendly and attentive.

the English Riviera provided the perfect backdrop for our stay, offering a wide range of leisure activities to indulge in. Not to mention, Meadfoot Beach with its rock pools was a fascinating spot for exploration. the sheltered waters of Babbacombe Bay were a peaceful retreat, and the calmness of the surroundings added to the tranquility of the area. the excellent breakfast choices, including the perfectly poached eggs, made my mornings delightful. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall pleasant stay. My room on the first floor was cozy, warm, and welcoming, with a king-size bed providing a comfortable night's sleep. In terms of minor drawbacks, the upper floors being accessible only by stairs may pose a challenge for some guests. Entirely happy.

I absolutely loved the room with a double bed and balcony in the provided database. the bed was a good size and incredibly comfortable, making my stay very pleasant. the room came equipped with personal accessories, adding a nice touch to the overall experience.

The only downside I found was that the database took a bit longer than expected to load certain pages. It was a minor inconvenience, but worth mentioning for those who rely on quick access to information.

We had a fantastic stay at Downs, Babbacombe Bed & Breakfast. the staff were incredibly friendly, and we appreciated their accommodation of our vegan diet. the room was clean, well-stocked, and had lovely touches for our dog. the location was excellent, with a beautiful view of the bay from our room. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and quick service. Limited parking was not an issue for us, as we found a space outside the hotel. a great experience!

this summer at downs, babbacombe bed & breakfast was even better than our previous stay in torquay! the staff were incredibly helpful and made sure my disabled husband was taken care of. the location was excellent with plenty of dining options nearby. they even upgraded us to a sea view room!

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the outstanding service. The staff graciously offered to help with our luggage and welcomed us with a refreshing welcome drink in the cozy bar area. Our room was absolutely stunning, with jaw-dropping sea views and a charming small balcony. We were delighted to find a wide selection of hot drinks in the room, perfect for a cozy evening in. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower room was immaculately clean, with an abundance of fluffy towels. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the excellent breakfast. The array of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, and juices was mind-blowing, and the cooked options, especially the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. The view from the breakfast area was absolutely incredible. The staff, particularly Beth, were truly lovely and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was superb. Despite being short staffed, Beth took care of everything with ease and was a superstar. We also had a delightful evening meal, with delicious fish and an irresistible fish pie. The location of the hotel was fantastic, offering access to various activities such as hiking, canoeing, fishing, snorkeling, diving. our stay at this hidden gem exceeded all expectations, and we would absolutely return for another mind-blowingly wonderful experience.

Recently stayed at Downs, Babbacombe Bed & Breakfast in a comfortable room with a seafront view balcony complete with chairs and table. the room was clean and had good bedding and towels. the working staff, including Jazz, Beth, and another friendly and helpful lady, were all a credit to the establishment. the hotel is in an excellent location with plenty of dining options nearby. the staff went above and beyond to assist us as my husband is disabled, offering to help with our luggage and providing a convenient parking spot. We were even upgraded to a sea view room, which was a nice touch. the breakfast selection was excellent, featuring a wide variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, juices, and a delicious hot option.

We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel! The location at the top of the cliff provided stunning views of the sea. The service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The room was spacious and clean, with all the amenities we needed, including heating and tea/coffee facilities. The hotel also had a lovely terrace with garden furniture, where we could relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We were impressed with the wide range of facilities, including a dining restaurant and a bar/lounge area. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The staff created a great atmosphere and provided excellent service throughout our stay.
