We especially loved that we could bring our dogs along and explore nearby walks. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The attention to detail was outstanding, from the cleanliness of the room to the small touches like providing fresh milk in the communal fridge. The food at both breakfast and dinner was amazing, and the extensive wine list was a pleasant surprise. The location was perfect, with plenty of stunning walks and charming villages in the area. We would highly recommend this hotel for a celebration or even just a one-night stay to enjoy the delicious food.

We had a great stay at a beautifully refurbished hotel. the room had a stunning view of the countryside and was very comfortable with a cosy bed. the food in the restaurant was of the highest quality and delicious. the staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere of the hotel was cosy and inviting.

We did experience slow service during breakfast. We also received items that we had specifically asked not to be included on our plates.

They went above and beyond by cleaning our room while we were at our blessing service and reception. They even surprised us with towel swans and flip flops in our room. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast brought to our room, with croissants, jam, orange juice, and coffee. the rooms in Walnut House had beautiful views over the fields, and the food in the restaurant, especially the Apple Tart Tatin, was exceptional. We will definitely be returning to this peaceful and lovely place.

The cooked breakfast served in the morning was absolutely delicious and satisfying. The staff provided excellent service, going above and beyond to make our stay special. They even accommodated our request to have breakfast brought to our room, allowing us to enjoy it outside in the garden.
