Honestly, we got great bang for our buck at Hotel Ellenby. The room was fantastic, cozy, and spotless. And the location? Can't beat the breathtaking views of the castle and the sea. But what really stood out was how friendly and welcoming Tony and Paula were. They truly made us feel at home.

Now, the only tiny thing that could improve the breakfast is the coffee. Hotel breakfast coffee needs a little upgrade.

Excellent breakfast selection, including fresh fruits, yoghurts, and cooked-to-order hot items. Nice extra touches like complimentary tea and coffee and toiletries. Friendly and knowledgeable hosts who provide information on local events and recommend great restaurants. Beautiful location overlooking the North Bay.

Great views, excellent standard and spacious rooms with good facilities. Warm, clean, and well decorated. Lovely welcome with tea tray and lots of information. Immaculate ensuite with hot shower. Catered for dietary requirements and provided soya milk. Stunning sea views, welcoming check-in, and local information offered. Comfy bed, complimentary wine, and unexpected USB chargers. Delicious breakfast with local ingredients.

We loved the stunning sea views from this hotel, located right on the seafront. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, with spacious and comfortable beds. The complimentary carafe of wine and USB chargers in the room were unexpected and appreciated. The breakfast selection was amazing, with fresh local eggs and tasty bacon. The staff were welcoming and offered lots of helpful information about the area.

We were warmly welcomed by the hosts, Paula and Tony, at Ellenby. Our room had a breathtaking view of the bay, and they even provided binoculars for us. The attention to detail was incredible, with homemade biscuits and fresh milk in the fridge every day. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, and we had a restful sleep in the spacious bed. The breakfasts were outstanding, cooked to perfection with a wide range of options. We also appreciated the local information provided in the room. our weekend stay was thoroughly enjoyable.

While there is nothing we didn't like about Ellenby, we do wish that the hotel could accommodate our small dog, as we often bring him to Scarborough.

The rooms were spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed, including a fridge with fresh milk daily. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a great selection for breakfast and a bar that operated on an honesty basis. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the sea and close proximity to the beach and local park. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering hot drinks on arrival and providing assistance and guidance. it was a wonderful experience.

It was all superb.
