The traditional Scottish breakfast was delicious, and the friendly staff made us feel right at home. The hotel's location in Moffat is perfect for exploring the stunning surrounding scenery. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.

During our stay at The Famous Star Hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional food served. The pies we had were on par with five-star quality, although we found the mashed and chipped potatoes slightly disappointing. However, the plentiful selection of vegetables, such as carrots, peas, and mange. The bedroom had a quirky layout but provided everything we needed. The shower was particularly noteworthy, more like a massager than a regular shower, deserving a perfect 10 out of 10.
